In October 2016 in The Hague took place an amazing international civil society initiative called “The Monsanto Tribunal”.
Gathering Human Rights judges, victims, scientific and legal experts, this Tribunal aimed to check whether Monsanto’s activities in the field of the right to a healthy environment, the right to food, the right to health, the right to information in relation to this new question of ecocide are in compliance with the legal instruments.
